Wave Music Bose

Wave Music Bose Systems are Table Top Radios which were first released in 1984. They were developed by Bose Corporations, which was started by Dr. Amar G. Bose (who was working then as an electrical engineering professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology) in the year 1964. He developed this music system because he felt that the usual sound system, with all its impressive features, could not actually deliver music with the realism of what was heard in a live performance Thus was born the first ever Wave Music System.

The first model that was released was in 1984 and it had 2 inch speakers and also a four-inch bass speaker. It was an innovative concept at that time and it is called the Acoustic Wave Music System. Furthermore, it was also the first Table Top Radio.

It was this model that was released till 1992, when the company decided to introduce a CD feature and thus was released the first version of the CD Acoustic Wave. In the following year, the initial version of the Wave Radio was brought out as was the Automotive Acoustic Waveguide. This was the first music system developed for automotive requirements and it was featured by Mazda in its RX-7 sports car (third generation)

Bose Wave Music Systems were a pretty different lot from what was seen in the market during those times and its inventors Amar Bose and William Short won the Inventor of the Year Award, in 1987.

Many music system models have been released since then and these are the Wave Radio Series I v.2 (1996) Wave Radio Series I v.3 (1997), the Wave Radio/CD introduced (1998), the Wave Radio Series I v.5 (2000), the Wave/PC (2001), the Wave Music System (2004), the Wave Radio II (2005), the Acoustic Wave Music System II (2006) and the Wave DAB module (2008). Each of these models featured something ne and innovative for consumers.

What makes Wave Music Bose truly a one-of-a-kind is the sound quality, the technology features as in the speakers, the sound clarity and features like MP3 player which make it very versatile. Bose Systems are used everywhere, right from restaurants to clubs to the Olympic Games to even in NASA space shuttles. There are specialized versions for musicians and for automobiles. That is the level of quality that these systems deliver, as a result of implementing the innovative acoustic waveguide speaker technology because of which the music that you hear from such systems sounds like a live performance, instead of something ordinary.

Wave Music Bose Systems are available worldwide, through various distributions centers. Those interested in buying one for themselves can do so through such channels, else they can also shop for it online through the company’s website. In the year 2008, Dr. Amar Bose was brought into the National Inventors Hall of Fame in Akron, Ohio for his outstanding achievements in audio technology. His certainly was an invention that indeed revolutionized music listening in not just all over America, bur also in the rest of the world.
