The mobile phone industry has concentrated on the popular brands for so many years. We see and read advertisements for Nokia, Apple, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, LG, and the like, all competing to be the number one mobile phone dealer in the world. But what you probably have never heard of or seen in shops is the one phone that has almost everything you need. Sure, most phones nowadays have integrated devices like built-in cameras, mp3 players, and video recorders already, but this red, sleek and slim phone has global voice translator, a projector, and even a coffee brewer. The only problem with this brilliant idea is that it isn’t really a real product in the markets.

Unfortunately for many who are interested in buying the phone, this is a mere advertising campaign launched by Nova Scotia last October 1st. The microsite http://www.pomegranatephone.com is just the storefront for the province’s Come to Life tourism campaign where it boasts itself as being the place where you can find almost everything you need.
So if you’re pulling your hair in annoyance because you can’t find release dates, accept it because you won’t find it anywhere or anytime soon. You’ll just be surprised when the words, “Someday you’ll be able to get everything you want in one device” flashes in your screen after viewing the features of the Pomegranate phone.
